Gas Safety Certificates
As the owner of a property, it is your legal responsibility to ensure that all gas appliances are safe and working properly in your properties. For any gas appliance, such as a central heating boiler, gas hob or gas fire, a gas safe certificate is required to verify this.

A gas certificate, in accordance with The Gas Safety Regulations 1998 (Installations and Use), can only be issued by an engineer registered with the Gas Safe Register.

Landlords
​
If you are a landlord, our Gas Safe registered engineers can conduct gas safety checks on your appliances, including central heating systems, boilers, and flues. We will issue the required Gas Safety Certificate (CP12), and offer annual checks with recommendations for any necessary repairs.

To help you reduce your energy and gas bills, our engineers also provide all landlords with free efficiency advice with every certificate. Every gas certificate is valid for a year from the date it is issued and a copy must be provided to tenants.
